All-Inclusive Morocco Adventure Tours with Toubkal Treks
All-Inclusive Morocco Adventure Tours with Toubkal Treks Morocco Morocco rewards travelers who go beyond the postcard view — the rugged peaks of the High Atlas, the rolling silence of the Sahara, mule trails through Berber villages, and the noise and color of Marrakech itself. Planning all of that yourself, across guides, transport, permits, and accommodation, is its own project. Toubkal Treks exists to remove that friction: every trip below is run start to finish by a licensed, Morocco-based team, with private transport, expert local guides, and accommodation already arranged, so the only thing left for you to do is show up and walk.
This guide walks through each of our core experiences in detail — what it actually involves, who it suits, and the specific itineraries you can book right now.
Before getting into individual trips, it’s worth being specific about what’s covered, since “all-inclusive” gets used loosely in travel marketing. On a Toubkal Treks itinerary, that generally includes:
- What “All-Inclusive” Actually Means Here
- – Private transport with an English-speaking driver for the full route
- – A licensed local guide for trekking days
- – Accommodation — riads, mountain gîtes, desert camps, or guesthouses, depending on the route
- – Breakfast daily, and dinner on most trekking and desert nights
- – Camel support on Sahara routes, and mule support on multi-day mountain treks
- – Airport pickup and drop-off where arranged
- – 24/7 local support for the duration of your trip
Exact inclusions vary slightly by itinerary (each tour page lists its own “Price Includes / Excludes”), so always check the specific trip before booking — but the principle holds across the board: logistics are handled, so the trip is about the experience, not the admin.
Marrakech: Where Every Journey Begins
Almost every itinerary on this page starts and ends in Marrakech, and most travelers build in at least a day or two here before heading into the mountains or the desert. The city is worth the time on its own merits: the maze of the souks, the performers and food stalls of Jemaa el-Fnaa at dusk, the quiet of the Majorelle Garden, and the riads tucked behind unmarked medina doors. It’s also simply the most practical base — Marrakech Menara Airport is the arrival point for nearly all our guests, and it’s the départure point for the Atlas, the Sahara, and the Agafay Desert alike.
If you want to extend your stay here, mention it when you book any trek or desert trip and we’ll build the city time into your itinerary alongside it.
Trekking the Atlas Mountains
The High Atlas range begins less than two hours south of Marrakech, and it’s where most of our guests spend the bulk of their trip. Trails pass directly through working Berber villages, walnut groves, and terraced valleys, with mules carrying gear on the longer routes rather than vehicles. Guides are local to the specific valleys they walk.

Sahara Desert Expeditions
The desert trips are where Morocco’s geography changes completely — from green mountain valleys to the kasbahs of Ouarzazate, the gorges of Dades and Todra, and finally the dunes of Erg Chebbi at Merzouga, among the tallest in the Sahara at over 150 metres.
A typical multi-day desert route runs from Marrakech across the Atlas, through the UNESCO-listed Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou (familiar from a long list of film and TV productions shot there) and on to Ouarzazate, then along the Dades Valley and Todra Gorge before reaching Merzouga. From there, a roughly 90-minute camel ride crosses the dunes to a desert camp, where the night is spent around a fire with mint tea, a traditional tagine or couscous dinner, and Amazigh drumming, either sleeping under the stars or in an enclosed bivouac tent.
