Explore the wonders of Morocco on this 4-day journey from Fes to Marrakech. Beginning in Fes, we’ll venture through the Middle Atlas Mountains, visit charming Ifrane, and witness the majestic cedar forests. Experience local culture in Rissani’s vibrant markets before immersing yourself in the enchanting Sahara Desert. Day two brings encounters with nomadic families, Gnaoua music in Khamlia village, and a camel ride into the sunset. Day three showcases the geological marvels of Todra and Dades Gorges, while day four leads us through the Rose Valley, Skoura Oasis, and Ait Ben Haddou’s historic kasbah, culminating in a scenic drive through the High Atlas Mountains to Marrakech.
Your 4 days tour from Fes to Marrakech is going to start at 8:00 am. Our guide will pick you up for your accommodation in Fes towards Merzouga . On our way we are going to enjoy the beauty of the middle atlas mountains with its fantastic forests, Our first stop it will be in the beautiful city of Ifrane or “Moroccan Switzerland”, builte by french in the 1930s, deliberately trying to recreate an alpine style resort.
Then to the largest forest of the cedar trees where we will stop by, so you can get the chance to take some great pictures and to admire the beauty of this great forest and to see the barbary macaque also known as the “barbary ape”, they are active during the day. Next to Midelt the apple capital of Morocco and you will have time for lunch in one of the local restaurants there.
After restoring, we will continue through The Tizi N-Talghamt pass to Erachidia then to Ziz Valley, where we will have a short break for a coffee or Moroccan tea with mint and to enjoy the charming of this valley . After a quiet stay, we will resume our tour to Rissani itself is very interesting town, between the 14the and 18the centures it was the location of the famed desert capital, “Sijilmassa”, where fourtunes in gold and slaves were traded via caravans crossing the sahel, in this old and historical area you will visit the largest local and traditionalist market (Souq) in the Southern Morocco. Eventually, arriving at Merzouga where you will enjoy the night with authantic dinner in a Riad/hotel.
After breakfast, our wonderful day will start from your accommodation exploring the surrounding areas of the marvel Erg Chebbi. We will drive off-road to visit the nomadic families who are living around the dunes of Erg Chebbi, it will be a chance to see their lifestyle and how they could survive in a dray Sahara desert by having a cup of mint tea with them. Then from there to Mifis mines, it’s located on a high plateau that has a wonderful panoramic view of Erg Chebbi and the desert landscape.
Afterward, we will head to Khamlia village ( Gnaoua village). The people of this small village originated in black Africa having a close and long-standing relationship with the Sahara. Their ancestors were brought from central and west Africa, through the Sahara desert in caravans that arrived in the southeastern of Morocco. we will get to know more about them and enjoy their traditional music. After enjoying the traditional gnaoua music, we will have a delicious lunch which is Berber pizza.
After that, you will ride your camels into a magic world through the sandy dunes of Erg Chabbe. Under a panoramic view of the unique sunset of the Sahara. To finally get to our camp in a relaxing mood, you will have a delicious and authentic Berber(Amazigh) dinner in the heart of the desert and a night gathering around the fire with Berber music under an endless starry sky.
It is recommended to wake up in early the morning so you can not miss one of the most beautiful sunrise in your life. After breakfast in the camp, you will have two choices. Either to come back to the village by camels or by car. From there we will start our day at Dades Gorges. Our first stop it will be Erfoud: It is one of the oldest known sites, where you can find precious and unique fossils.
Then to The Irreyation System: which began in ancient times, diverse societies on both sides of the High Atlas Mountains in Morocco built thousands of wells and tunnel systems similar to qanats in Iran or foggaras in Algeria. These systems are called khettaras in Morocco. Afterward, we will continue our way to Touroug and then to Tinjdad. And you will have time for lunch in one of the local restaurants in Touroug or Tinjdad.
After restoring, we will continue towards our unique place which is Todra Gorges. It’s the highest narrowest spectacular gorges in Morocco; 300 meters high and at their most narrow are merely 20 meters apart. Also recognized around the world as one of the most spectacular Canyons. After a short walk around the immense cliffs and enjoying the amazing landscapes, we will drive to Dades Gorges where you will enjoy the night with authantic dinner in a Riad/hotel.
After breakfast in your accommodation in Dades Gorges. We’ll start our day at a new destination which is Red City (Marrakech). Our first stop it will be Rose Valley It’s well worth taking the time to stop and smell the roses. (Friendly Reminder: The best season of roses viewing is in late May). Then to Skoura Oasis known as the road of one thousand kasbahs. Afterward, we will drive to Ouarzazate also known as “Africa’s Hollywood”. A city that attracts many with its unique landscapes many producers give it a part in their movies. There where you will have the chance to visit one of the biggest film studios in Morocco which is “The Atlas Studio”.
After having a great time in the studio. We will continue to reach the beautiful Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. A kasbah that belongs to one of the most important families between the 16th and 17 centuries in Morocco “the Glaoui family”. It is considered a great example of Moroccan earthen clay architecture. It has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. Also a place that attracted many filmmakers it took part in movies such as (“Prince of Persia ” and “Gladiator”…). A lunch is planned for you to enjoy in this historical kasbah.
After restoring, we will drive through the high Atlas mountains crossing the Tizi-n-Tichka pass. The highest road in Morocco with an altitude of 2260m. Offering you charming views as far as the eye can see. We will stop by, so you can get the chance to take some great pictures. Also to admire the beauty of the tiny Berber villages, valleys, and oases…. Eventually, arriving in Marrakech where we will drop you off at your accommodation. Here unfortunately our wonderful experience will end.

Alternatively, we can create a comprehensive itinerary for you, combining your trek with visits to Marrakech, Essaouira, the Atlantic Coast, and the Sahara Desert. To ensure a convenient and hassle-free experience, we provide pick-up and drop-off services from your accommodation in Marrakech city. Please note that some riads may not have direct car access, so our driver will park nearby and come to meet you at a designated meeting point.
At the start of the trek, our driver will pick you up from your riad/hotel in Marrakech. If your riad is not easily accessible by car, our driver will arrange to meet you at a convenient location nearby. To facilitate a smooth pick-up, our driver can also call your riad to coordinate the meeting if necessary.
At the end of the trek, you will be dropped off at the nearest point to your riad/hotel. Our driver will ensure that you are safely returned to your accommodation. If required, our driver can contact your riad in advance to make arrangements for a seamless drop-off.
The accommodation will be mix in between Berber gites & mountain huts. camping will be an option during the summer months

During the trek, personal baggage, cooking equipment, and food are transported by the mules. This means you will only need to carry a rucksack containing essential items for the day.
If you have any excess or unnecessary luggage, you can securely store it in our storage facility in Imlil until you return from the trek. This ensures that your belongings are kept safe and allows you to travel with a lighter load during the trek
To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable hiking experience, it is important to have the following equipment:
– Good walking boots and socks / good trainers for valley treks
– Personal First Aid Kit
– 3 to 4 season sleeping bag (for winter treks) or light sleeping bag (for summer treks)
– Lightweight waterproof over-trousers / rain-pants
– Water bottle or camelback (recommended)

3. To confirm your booking, we kindly ask for a 20% deposit. You can conveniently make this payment online via bank transfer in Euros, pounds sterling, or US dollars.
4. The remaining balance is payable in cash upon your arrival in Morocco, at the beginning of the trek. We accept payments in Euros, pounds sterling, or US dollars.
NB: If you are unable to carry a large amount of cash, we offer an alternative option. You can pay the remaining balance online via bank transfer a few days before your departure. This way, you can have peace of mind knowing that your payment is taken care of beforehand.
