Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Marrakesh and Transfer to Boumalne Dades

Your adventure begins upon your arrival in Marrakesh, where you will be warmly greeted by your guide and transferred to Boumalne Dades, a small town situated at the foot of the Dades Valley. The drive takes approximately 6-7 hours, offering you breathtaking views as you travel through the stunning landscapes of the High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, you’ll pass through winding roads, small villages, and scenic valleys. You will arrive in Boumalne Dades by late afternoon, where you can check into a comfortable guesthouse or hotel. After settling in, you will enjoy a delicious dinner and have some time to rest before the trek begins.

Day 2 - Boumalne Dades to M'Goun Canyon

After a hearty breakfast at the guesthouse, you will be transferred to the start of the trek, where your journey through the M’goun Canyon begins. M’goun Canyon is one of Morocco’s hidden treasures, known for its dramatic rock formations, narrow passages, and rugged beauty. The hike on this day lasts for about 5-6 hours, taking you through picturesque landscapes and small Berber villages. Along the way, you’ll have opportunities to meet local villagers and learn about their culture. A picnic lunch will be provided during the trek, allowing you to relax and take in the surroundings. Day 3 - M'Goun Canyon to Ait Bouguemez Valley

On the third day, you will continue your trek deeper into the M’goun Canyon before descending towards the Ait Bouguemez Valley, often referred to as the “Happy Valley.” This valley is famous for its lush green fields, charming Berber villages, and spectacular views of the surrounding peaks. The trek today will take approximately 6 hours. You will pass through narrow gorges, dry riverbeds, and ancient terraced fields as you make your way to Ait Bouguemez. Day 4 - Ait Bouguemez Valley to Roses Valley

After breakfast in the valley, you will embark on a 5-6 hour trek toward the Roses Valley, one of Morocco’s most beautiful and aromatic regions. As you leave Ait Bouguemez, you will pass through several picturesque villages and fields filled with olive groves and wheat. The route offers stunning views of the Atlas Mountains and passes through tranquil areas where you can truly appreciate the beauty of nature. Roses Valley, famous for its rose gardens, is home to the annual Rose Festival, celebrating the harvest of rose petals used for making essential oils and perfumes. Day 5 - Trekking in Roses Valley and Gorges

Once in Marrakesh, you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, depending on your travel plans.
